A collaboration project between the School of Mines Colorado (USA), the National School of Architecture and Cadi Ayyad University of Marrakesh (Morocco), InterHouse highlighted intercultural architecture, interactive management systems, integrated control systems and interaction with the environment.

Composed by the University of Soultan Moulay Slimane of Beni Mellal (Morocco) and the Cheikh Anta Diop University of Dakar (Senegal), Bayti_Akhdar intelligently combines renewable energies and digital technologies aiming to develop a sustainable and innovative future.

3rd place: Solar-ution
Solar Decathlon Africa 2019
Led by the University of Moulay Ismail, Meknes (Morocco), Solar-ution used smart and beautiful geometry while optimising thermal comfort by using available local ecological materials that have low carbon content.
