The first Solar Decathlon China was held in 2013 in Datong, China, welcoming over 250,000 visitors to the solar village on the forecourt of Datong’s new civic centre. In the spirit of the original Solar Decathlon U.S. mandate, these teams have been selected to design, build and operate solar-powered, energy-efficient houses that combine affordability, consumer appeal and design excellence. The Solar Village in Dezhou, China will celebrate the future of energy-balanced housing to the public in the summer of 2018.
Good luck to all the teams!
