The city of Dezhou has been chosen to host
the Solar Decathlon China in 2018. Whoohoo Dehzou!!
Calling all Solar Decathlon die-hards: book your flights! The city for the SD China has
been chosen & the upcoming solar village will be located in the Shandong province.
Situated approximately 200 kilometers south of Beijing, Dezhou is a dynamic & growing city,
an excellent spot for the Solar Decathlon competition to showcase the future of energy-efficient housing. The first Solar Decathlon China was held in 2013 in Datong, China & welcomed over 250,000 visitors in the solar village on the forecourt of Datong’s new civic centre. The United States Department of Energy renewed their Memorandum of Understanding with the SD China organising committee in 2015, setting the stage for yet another SD event. This SD in Dezhou promises to be as popular & spectacular as the last SD China. See you in Dezhou!
