Expert in renewable energy, education, and workforce development, Linda was the Director of the U.S. Solar Decathlon.

Linda Silverman most recently served as Director of the U.S. Solar Decathlon for the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) until she retired in late 2018. She worked at DOE for over thirty years, and is known as a strategic thinker, a clean energy and climate change expert, a generous collaborator, an experienced project manager, a seasoned communicator and an enthusiastic person to work with. Linda has worked on a variety of issues, including workforce development and education, renewable energy market analysis, and climate change policy. Linda holds a M.A. in International Affairs from the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies and a B.S. in Finance from the University of Colorado.
